On Friday’s Mark Levin Show, Kamala Harris is applying ideology to economics with price controls, lying to get votes, and concealing what she’s done. Harris and Biden are career politicians who have worked in government their entire lives and have no experience managing a payroll or running a real business. Countries that use price controls are typically totalitarian regimes where the government needs to make decisions instead of people using their free will; it is the complete destruction of the engine of capitalism. Harris has been hiding because her economic solution to Biden’s inflation is to increase government spending by over $1 trillion. We cannot accept Harris’ American Pravda media campaign and this plan is why we must demand answers. Later, Donald Trump gave a speech that’s been underreported because it was a strong defense of Israel and a strong attack on antisemitism.

Segment 1
Hello, America. Mark Levin here. Our number 877-381-3811.  877-381-3811. As I watch Harris, listen to what she says and I think to myself. How stupid can somebody be? Doesn’t the greatest nation on the face of the earth with the greatest economic engine. That creates more wealth, more prosperity for more people than any other system or nation on the face of the earth. Shouldn’t we have candidates who recognize that? Shouldn’t we have candidates who embrace capitalism rather than Marxism and socialism? Why would you? Why would you reach to. These old government police powers used by the most tyrannical regimes. As they fix. And a fix to what? As a fix. Two what Harris and Biden have done. You know, I said I’m in amazement. I know. One. People that are smarter than her, they are wiser than her that are more rational in her. And they’re just people who work and regular jobs are handymen. The manager. Our assistant manager at our local bank. The waiters and waitresses at a couple of diners said, I go to the just smarter than her. Because as I said last evening, she’s applying ideology to economics. It’s ideological. It’s not about economics. It’s about trying to get votes. It’s about trying to conceal what you’ve done. Now, let’s go through this. And let’s remember, Kamala Harris has no background whatsoever in economics. I don’t mean she’s not a professor. She’s never built anything. She’s never hired anybody in the private sector. She’s never developed anything. She’s never created anything. She’s never met a payroll. None of it. All government. All the time. So how is she an expert in this? Same with Joe Biden. Half a century, she’s a quarter of a century. These people want you to believe they can run an entire economy. You know how complicated and complex our economy is. Let me just say this. I urge you strongly. To watch Life, Liberty and Living Saturday at 8 p.m. Eastern and Sunday at 10 p.m. Eastern. The Saturday program. We have great guests. Plus, I absolutely eviscerate this idea. That Kamala Harris. Is anything but an Israel hating, hard core leftist. Sunday night, 10 p.m. Eastern after the DNC convention coverage. I completely eviscerate her economic ideas and proposals in a way that I believe humiliates her. You really should watch. These programs are very, very important. And we have great guests. Greg Guests. That That said, let’s just think this through for a second. She’s talking about inflation, right? There’s not a single company in America that’s big enough or strong enough. To create inflation, Not one. The American economy’s too big. For one company or even a handful of companies or even one industry. To create. Historic levels of inflation. Inflation is a monetary problem. In other words, you’re literally printing too many dollars. You’re inflating, inflating the supply of money. Politicians do that. For several reasons. Number one, they can spend money beyond what’s budgeted, beyond taxation. Number two. The consequences of what they do are very difficult to trace back. Now, what do I mean by that? Well, look what Kamala Harris is doing right now. Blaming businesses, that is blaming Americans. Because businesses are not, you know, like paintings. You hang on all businesses or people. Many of you work for businesses. Many of you shop at businesses, many of you benefit of businesses. So her answer is to punish you. Punish those of you who work for businesses, punish those of you who shop at businesses. Punish you who own businesses. What do you think price controls are all about? It’s a temporary fix, like a heroin addict. It’s really cool. For about two months. Then all of a sudden, where is everything? The shelves are empty. You’ve shortages. Now, politicians are never, ever going to blame themselves. Never, ever going to blame themselves. They’re not going to do that. They’re going to tell you how they’re going to protect you and save you, because politicians are never wrong. And so I ask you a couple of questions when it comes to Kamala Harris and her. Let’s take a piece of this. Price controls on food. What? Food? What level you’re going to. You’re going to control prices at the farming level, at the harvesting level. At the packaging level at the end use level, were you going to control it? And what impact will that have on farmers and ranchers? And food packers and truckers and people who work at grocery stores. She has no idea. None. None. These are fortune cookie comments. You just throw them out there. And who exactly in the federal government is going to be in charge of this, of the FTC? Who are they? What experience do they have? Absolutely none. Well, then who’s going to do it? And how are they going to know when a price is too high or when it’s. High enough. Who’s going to make that determination? And what are the consequences downstream? What will the impact be for the production? Of that product. In the following days, weeks and months. When you use your own hands in your own mind to create things. You know what you’ve put into it, the labor, the costs and so forth and so on. When some bureaucrat sitting in an office in Washington, D.C., or some politician looking for votes when they have a completely different knowledge base. They don’t know what they’re doing. So they destroy that market. They destroy the meat market. They destroy the wheat market. They destroy these markets because their decisions cannot be right. They’re not based on knowledge, they’re not based on experience. They’re not based on anything other than ideology. And you will notice. That those countries. That use price controls, wage controls and have in the past are typically totalitarian regimes. We’ve tried it once or twice, but they are typically totalitarian regimes because you need to control the population. You need to control the once of the population. You need to control the desires. You need to make the decisions on who gets what. In other words, you have to distribute goods and services rather than the market. And rather than people using their free will and voluntary decision making. It’s a complete destruction. The engine of capitalism. And replaces it with the iron fist of centralized government and ideological decisions. She’s going to make sure. That your food is priced right. How. What’s in her background? Well, let’s say she’s Albert Einstein in a dress pantsuit. Albert Einstein would be the first to tell you it’s an impossibility. It’s an impossibility. Because in the end, ladies and gentlemen, you have to decide. What you’re willing to pay. We’re not. Even based on distortions in the market. You go to the supermarket today. You have massive inflation, they’re not pretending you don’t, but you do. And that it gathers one year to the next to the next. What these guys on TV who consider themselves business reporters, they do a month by month by month. You don’t live that way when you go in to buy butter or eggs. Ah, chicken or fish or meat or whatever you want to buy. There’s an accumulation cost over the last four years. When you go to the pump. To fill up your car. There’s an accumulation cost and an accumulation of inflation, a market distortion. So the government that distorted the market in the first place is not going to fix it. It wouldn’t have to fix it if it didn’t distorted in the first place. This is Marxist. Marxist class warfare populism. That’s what it is. Now let’s talk again, more specifically products and services. When she and her government henchmen. Decide to punish certain industries. And by the way. You know, those industries are going to have lobbyists and they will go to Washington and they will go to the Democrat Party and they will go to the Harris campaign. God forbid, if she’s elected and runs for re-election, God forbid. And they will. What do you want from us? You want any donations? Says our whole underground politics plus economy that takes place. Decision making is not in the market. Decision making is made in the halls of power and you suffer from it. But back to the point. Products and services, products and services that are targeted. And then to a dictator are said to be gouging or as she called it, gauging. Right, Mr. Producer? She calls it, gauging she may know what the hell she’s talking about gouging the consumer. Of course, the federal government is endlessly gouging the consumer. But who cares, right? What happens? Those targeted products and services, those targeted businesses. It creates shortages and scarcities. In those businesses. It is the products and services. If you target potato growers, you’re going to have less potatoes. If you target steel manufacturers, you’re going to have less steel. If you target the price of automobiles, you’re going to have less automobiles. Now, what about products and services that are subsidized like the housing market? Did you see the Home Builders Association? They were very excited. You mean? You’re going to give $25,000 and in so many respects to first time homebuyers. Their wedding themselves. Because they’re one of the industries that has been chosen. The benefit. But the government. And they think it’s great. Because obviously their association doesn’t believe in. Capitalism. But what happened to you? That market will become heated. Even more inflation in the housing market. All of a sudden you’re going to have hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars flow into the. Construction of homes. Prices are going to go up and up and up well beyond the $25,000 subsidy. Making ultimately, ironically, the price of a house even more unaffordable. Even more unaffordable. And rather than a scarcity of houses, you’ll have a scarcity of buyers. They have this in communist China right now. They kept building and building and building. But people’s incomes, even in a controlled, regulated society, couldn’t keep up. Couldn’t keep up. This will help destroy the housing market in the end, but their housing association is too stupid to even understand it. And you are going to suffer through all of it. Economic dislocation. Supply Chains. More Inflation. Unpredictability. Government industry. Working behind the scenes. Making economic determinations. More and more power to Washington in the bureaucrats making ideological determinations. The greatest engine of economic production ever will be destroyed. I’ll be right back.

Segment 2
A loaf of bread costs 50% more today than it did before the pandemic. Ground beef is up almost 50%. I’m Donald Trump and I approve this message. She’s standing there talking about how food prices have gone up. Since the pandemic. And even since before the pandemic. She’s damning herself. She’s damning her own record. Even with all this time to prepare her her remarks. This is how damnable and foolish these people are. She’s admitting the prices are up. She can’t deny it. She’s doing it because she wants you to know she really cares. And what Trump in that one tiny little 14 second ad is saying, yep, well paid for that as a political ad because she’s pointing out exactly what the problem is. Harris and her policies have created the current economic doldrums and worse now we are in. Be right back.

Segment 3
I mean, I already have a couple of questions just sitting here. I said to Mr. Producer, okay, let’s say we have this 25,000. It’s not a subsidy welfare grant to first time homebuyers, of which there must be millions. I just have some basic math. It’s a hundred questions. But let me just say that you were too. Well, illegal aliens be eligible. Now she wants illegal aliens eligible for Medicare. Which, of course is going to destroy Medicare, which is already beginning to sink. So you know full well she’d allow illegal aliens. But I have another question. I’m a home seller, right. And this program is in place, right? And I’m selling the house at save for $500,000. Open your microphone. Are you able to, Mr. Producer? No. Open your microphone. I’m the home seller. I had my home up for a half a million dollars. $500,000. This program comes to be. What am I going to do with the price of my house jacking it up by 25 K Right. Soft now charge 525,000 because I know they’re getting a free $25,000 from the government. So how do I get my hands on it? I jacked up the price $25,000. This is so dumb ass crazy. And there is, of course, no room for fraud, is there, ladies and gentlemen? Hundreds of billions of dollars stolen under COVID. And of course, it won’t create inflation. I just explain to you one example of how it would. And you, we, the taxpayer, we’re the suckers. We get hit because we’re paying the taxes. Which will be increased on everybody and inflation. Here we go again. Food prices. Energy prices. Prices for for kids going back to school. And on and on. Everything. We’re the suckers. So they throw these things out there, give it almost no thought, and they cannot work. And they won’t work. Now, what else do they want to do? Well, let’s see here. We have the earned income tax credit. I’ve never liked this thing. It’s a give away and it’s not earned. It’s not a tax credit. It’s welfare. And I disagree with even some of our Republican friends. The child credit. You should get a credit for having a child. Sounds good. A lot of conservative groups are for it. A lot of conservative senators who claim they’re conservative before it. Why? Why should I pay taxes? Because somebody had kids or why should somebody else pay taxes? Because we had kids. So of course she wants to jack that up. The child tax credit. The tax credits for newborns would be aimed at helping middle and low income families in their baby’s first year of life. With the cost of everything from cribs to parents taking off time from work to care for the baby. Harris is calling for the return of the expanded child tax credit that was passed in the American Rescue Plan in 2021. See, nothing is temporary, was passed temporarily because of the pandemic. Hey, that’s a great idea. Let’s keep at it. $6,000 child tax credit. $6,000 for a newborn baby. On top of expanding the current child tax credit. So she would expand the current child tax credit from 1500 dollars to 30 $600 plus 6000 for a newborn. So one year you might get $10,000. As a tax credit that has nothing to do with your taxes. It’s not a tax credit. It’s welfare. Where is this money coming from? Same place. The ether. Now. I thought she was going to tell us how to get prices down. I thought she was going to tell us how to keep inflation down. Nothing about trimming the budget. Nothing about trimming the debt. Oh, when you bring that up, it’s. We’re going to tax the rich. Tax the rich. Ladies and gentlemen, that Marxist pablum has been going on since 1848. When The Communist Manifesto. In its ultimate version was published Tax the rich, Tax the rich. And yet you, the middle class, you keep paying the taxes. Why do you think they expanded the IRS to go after you wealthy people who work in the hospitality business on your tips? Notice she didn’t say she favors getting rid of that. That is the additional IRS agent. So basically her idea for reducing inflation is more spending. Not by you, By the government. Massive. No. Hundreds of billions of dollars in more welfare payments. And price controls. What about expanding the economy? Not a single proposal. What about helping to create economic growth? Not a single proposal. Everything is government centric. Everything has to go through the government. What about a plan to reduce regulations? Not one. What about a plan for more pipelines, more drilling? None. Because this attack on the energy sector is affecting every sector. Look around you. Your clothing. Packaging. The materials to build your house, the equipment in your house, and on and on and on. It all involves oil. Growing your food. Yes. It involves oil. Petroleum. But they want to get rid of petroleum. Which brings me to, I think, one of the biggest of all the points. If you’re. A congressional Democrat, a Democrat in the administration, a leading Democrat. Your ideology prevents you. From doing what needs to be done to create prosperity. You have to embrace, at least in large part, capitalism, the market system. What is the market system? It’s you. What is Marxism? Its government? Marxism substitutes your individual decisions right now. If you say, you know what, I want to drive in a McDonald’s and the government says no. We’re going to jack up the prices or we’re going to lower the prices. And we’re going to lower them so low that, well, McDonald’s can then she say she worked at McDonald’s. Ms.. Producer. What did she learn? Nothing. She learned nothing. She worked at McDonald’s. She learned nothing. Yeah, exactly. She wanted a higher minimum wage. But you understand what I mean. Folks at McDonald’s. Just one franchisor, McDonald’s, all that’s involved in putting that hamburger together in that bag. The people involved. From the people who raise the cattle all the way to the point where that hamburger is in your bag, those fries from the people who grow the potatoes all the way. To a winding up in your bet. Sometimes I think capitalism is so successful that it creates its own demise. It’s like liberty. Nobody knows who gives a damn how that hamburger winds up in the bag. They don’t care how the bag winds up with the hamburger. They don’t care how straws are made or cops are made. They don’t care about how the soda gets in the cup. Who makes the soda, Who makes the cup? They don’t care about how the coffee gets in the McDonald’s and how the potatoes get there. It’s fast, fast. And yet there’s an entire chain of events that take place before you the end user. Have the product. Next time you go into a CVS or Walgreens. Next time you go into a Wal-Mart or a Home Depot or any of these places, a Lowe’s. I want you to take a little extra time and walk down the aisles. And look at the most what you believe to be basic, simple products. There’s yogurt. What’s involved in getting that yogurt. In that refrigerated area for you to put in your cart. When you go down the meat section of the chicken section of the fish section. First of all, you should be amazed at all the sections. Those weren’t produced by people who are out to gouge you. Or destroy your way of living. They want to make a living. They want you to buy something that you can afford and they can afford to make. But I want you to think about it. The college package. Where did the Styrofoam come from? Where did this? What is it? Cellophane. Cultura. The chicken. Somebody did all that dirty work so you could have a nice chicken. When you go through the fruit section and you look at all this cherries and there’s grapes and there’s bananas and there’s apples and there’s ah, oh my God, It just goes on it. How did all that get there? All the different places that are involved in growing and producing all these different things. Capitalism is so ingenious because nobody created it. It’s spontaneous. Somebody wants to be a farmer. Somebody somewhere wants to grow bananas. It just goes on. And they figure out in their own little world their own little role what it is, and they pass it to the next guy who figures out in his own little world, in its own little role what it is, and they pass it to the next guy and on and on and on. I need fertilizer. While house fertilizer produced. Think about these things. How complicated. An economy is in. The only way it can function best is if there’s no central direction by some damnable politician who’s using their own ideology, who seeks their own popularity and their own votes, who distorts it. It’s a war on your lifestyle. It’s a war on. On your well-being. Now, obviously, there are economic conditions that can cause prices to go up and prices to go down. It’s called the market system. And guess what? You’re in charge of that, too. You know what? That price is too high. I’m not buying that. So they either lower the price or it goes out of business. You know what? I love that price in that product and many other people do, too. And so it’s called supply and demand. So the price goes up and it goes up so high at some point that people stop and it comes down. That’s not what I’m talking about. That’s normal. That’s rational. And there are others people who say, you know what, I can make a better widget. I can make a better X, Y, Z. And so you have this lateral competition that takes place, your price competition, quality competition, this lateral competition where people are saying, I can make a better wheel. This is how you create growth, prosperity, a vigorous society. Entrepreneurs, Investment capital. This is how more people. Are more wealthy. I didn’t say wealthy. Rich? Yes, more wealthy. They’re not any other place on the face of the planet. It’s called Liberty. When politicians are telling you. That they’re going to give you something. You’re giving you nothing. They’re putting out edicts. They’re putting out orders. The worst person. To advise us on how to grow an economy is a politician. Because their interests are not aligned with yours. You’re looking. For something that they’re not. They’re looking for credit. They’re looking for popularity. They’re looking for votes. You’re more than happy to see you go broke in order to finance people who they believe will vote for them. I hope this is making some sense, Mr. Peterson. Do I owe you anything? Then I’ll be right back.

Segment 4
Now the the Marxist left a.k.a the Democrats. They like to say that tax cuts create inflation. Now listen to me. This is my zone. The law and the Constitution, philosophy and economics. This is. This is my. That’s why I’m the cleanup hitter in radio. Tax cuts don’t create inflation. They don’t create money. Tax cuts don’t create money. You’re not printing money. You’re returning money. You’re returning your money to you. You’re not creating a single new dollar bill. Spending Government spending creates inflation. If they spend more than they have, they create inflation. If they print more and more money, they create inflation. You having your money does not create inflation. By definition. You are not printing more money. You’re receiving your money back. Money that would be spent anyway. It’s your money. But the government, every dollar you get to keep the government doesn’t get the control. And that’s what it’s all about, whether Kamala Harris gets to decide or whether Ernie Grabowski gets to decide. Now, what does Kamala Harris know about Ernie Grabowski? Not a damn thing. All of you people who are not first time homeowners, you know what you get? You get nothing. Zero. So the housing market will be further inflated if you want to sell your house to buy another house. It’s going to get completely out of control. Mortgages are going to be out of control. Affordability, since your income can’t keep up, will get out of control. This is the brain trust. That is Kamala Harris. She knows how to create inflation. She knows how to create joblessness. She knows how to kill a supply chain. She knows how to create shortages, brownouts and blackouts. How do I know? Because she’s of the same ideology of the American Marxists that have destroyed what was the most prosperous state in that country. The seventh biggest economy in the world, the state of California. How do you take California and flush it down the toilet? That is what Kamala Harris is an expert about. That’s what people should ask her. Tell us, how did you take Reagan’s California and turn it into Newsom’s California? Kamala, please tell us. My God. Ladies and gentlemen, if this woman becomes president of the United States, I can’t think of a single inch of this society that is safe. Not an inch. I’ll be right back.
