On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, as days go by things are not adding up with this attempted assassination of President Trump. Who was in charge of protecting Trump on that day? The government needs to release all the information now! It’s amazing that the Biden administration was in a rush to prosecute Trump, but not to get to the bottom of what happened.  Later, capitalism is not corporatism. Capitalism is the only economic system that creates widespread growth, prosperity, and wealth for more people than any other system on Earth.  If you support working men and women, the middle class, strong industries, cutting-edge technology and new medicines then you support market capitalism. To yell about Wall St vs Main Street means nothing. It’s important to appeal to the vast population but we should tamp down the Marxist, Socialist rhetoric. Also, the Democrat Party and their media can nominate whomever they wish. Trump will be the next president of the United States. The fact is the economy is a disaster, crime and the open border are horrendous. Finally, Joy Reid needs to be fired. Are there no standards at MSNBC? Her hate for Trump is indescribable, it knows no bounds. She is a reckless hateful person.

Segment 1
Hello, America. Mark Levin here, our number 877-381-3811.  877-381-3811. As the days go by since the assassination attempt on President Trump, the amount of information that is being revealed, and I might add not in a coherent or comprehensive way by the Biden regime, but by various news organizations on leaks to various news organizations and so forth. As you puzzle this together, this this doesn’t add up. What do you mean, Mark? What do I mean? The people at the rally saw the guy on the roof with a rifle. The people at the rally saw the guy roaming around 30 minutes before President Trump was on the stage. I’m just going by the reports and the videos. The local police were traffic cops. I explained this early this week that the police department was small. They’re not. Then a trained to handle a presidential event, for God’s sakes. You have a counter sniper. They keep calling the gentlemen a counter sniper. Right. But what’s a counter sniper? A counter sniper is a sniper that’s looking for other snipers. We keep hearing that that indeed local police called into. Whomever. We don’t know. To alert them of events, of suspicions. We hear that Secret Service personnel we’re calling into. We don’t know. To alert them that there might be an issue. Who was in charge on Saturday. Who specifically in the chain of command was in charge of protecting President Trump on that day? Who is it? Now, obviously, the director of the Secret Service has demonstrated herself to be an incomplete incompetent. And I notice the media have stopped talking about her being an appointee pushed. By Joe Biden. And I notice they stop talking about the fact that she was pushing for 30% women Secret Service agent. You don’t push for Secret Service agents based on their genitalia or for that matter, anywhere in law enforcement, in the military. But that aside, for now. The excuse. It’s a sloped roof. I mean. When advanced country. The most technologically advanced country on the face of the earth. We can’t get a simple answer. The Biden administration is stonewalling us. They’re going to have an independent investigation. We don’t need an independent investigation. We need answers right now. Who is in charge? Release every piece of information you have right now. Release all the audio, Release all the video right now to amazing. That the Biden administration was in a rush, Harry, to prosecute Donald Trump, the D.A. in Georgia, the D.A. in Manhattan. We got to get a conviction. We got to get a conviction. Are you seeing the same vigor? As you saw with these prosecutions, You’re not. You’re not. There’s been talk reports, at least. Reports at least. That the B team, the C team, in addition to some from the A-Team, were protecting President Trump. Well, is it true or not? There have been reports. That the amount of resources applied to protecting Trump, we’re not adequate. Then there’s a report that we just learned from a week ago that the Islamo Nazi regime in Iran has a hit out on our President, President Trump. Meanwhile, a 20 year old. Climbs a wall, goes to the top of the building in sight of the art of the Secret Service. Sniper is in sight of the audience and pops off a bunch of bullets. Let’s let’s assume for a moment that it was utter incompetence. Let’s just assume that for a moment, utter incompetence. In the Secret Service at the highest levels. In an area like this. The protection. Every presidential candidate. Why is it that we rely on the federal government for our health care? Why is it that we rely on the federal government for supporting public education? Why is it that we rely on the federal government for all aspects of our life that we want to give them more power, more money, more authority? They’re already ubiquitous in our culture, in our society, but more and more and more centralization of authority. And what happens, ladies and gentlemen, when you have more and more centralization of authority? You have more and more incompetence. The government wants to take over everything, but it can’t run anything. The border is wide open, wide open, and it’s the federal government’s responsibility to secure it. Our military is under supported underfinanced, and yet clearly that’s a federal government responsibility. Ensuring that the currency that the government provides. The currency that has the full faith and credit of the United States government behind it isn’t devalued by inflation and massive spending. Well, obviously it is. And so they can’t even do that. Right. I mean, the Democrat Party doesn’t even know how to nominate a presidential candidate, and we give them more and more power. No. This is clearly a responsibility not of local police, of the Secret Service, of the federal government. This Department of Homeland Security needs to be broken up. You want to know why? Because we don’t have Homeland Security with the Department of Homeland Security. We don’t have secure borders. And obviously the Secret Service under the Department of Homeland Security failed Donald Trump. That’s the way it is. No more. And I’m not talking about the little guy. I’m not talking about the big guy. I’m talking about. The entire entity until we figure out what the hell is going on here. And then. And then. The same media. That has spent years dehumanizing Donald Trump. The same Biden administration that has spent years dehumanizing Donald Trump, dehumanizing Trump supporters. The same party. It’s now spewing the most. Contemptible, unconscionable conspiracy theories imaginable. Michael Steele. Joy Reid. And a dozen others. And a dozen others. Less than a week after the assassination attempt. Less than a week. Did he get stitches? Where’s the pictures? Where’s the medical reports? Joy Reid with her posts and her comments. And then, of course. They’re very concerned that too many Americans will have sympathy for the former president, that that they might say, you know what? Enough is enough. I’m going to vote for him. No, we can’t have that. We can’t have that. And then it’s it’s Donald Trump’s fault and his supporters fault for contributing to the to the final language in this republic. I want to play something for you from April 1st, 2023. And I found this Mr. Producer, because it was put out by Media matters. You remember back. Media matters attacked me. This is a Soros front group. For saying what I said. Well over a year ago and this is what I said cut 22 ago, the media, Democrats and the Democrat Party and so forth, they’ve attempted to turn Donald Trump into a non-human. In fact, they’ve attempted to turn you into non-humans. You hear it all the time. You and I are responsible for insurrections. You and I are responsible for racism in a white dominated society. You and I just won’t relent to accepting redistribution of wealth, massive increases in taxes, a bloated, centralized government, equity over equality, transgender and our our children critical race theory. We just are standing in the way of progress. And Donald Trump is standing in the way of progress, too. They’ve rounded up so far a thousand people from January 6th, all of whom now have the Scarlet letter as some kind of criminal plea agreement or prosecution that they will wear on their foreheads for the rest of their life. The US attorney in Washington, DC, who has refused to prosecute almost 70% of the criminals who’ve been brought to him by the local police chief and the police department. Because in DC it’s the U.S. Attorney who does those prosecutions has said there’s at least a thousand more people they intend to round up. This is intended as an intimidation tactic, just as arresting and prosecuting people who protest in front of abortion clinics. And yet we learned the other day that from on high, the attorney general and the other reprobate said the Department of Justice, that the US Marshals were basically told not to arrest and apprehend individuals who were intimidating Supreme Court justices. After the Dobbs decision, people like to say there’s two systems of justice. If you don’t have one system of justice, there’s no system of justice, period. There’s no system of justice. And that’s the problem. When you lose the law, you lose your country. The Constitution doesn’t matter. The criminal code is used against your opponents. It’s politicized. You have the growth of a police state. That’s exactly what’s happening in this country. There is simply no question about it. And we know who’s taken us down this road. It is the Democrat Party and their media. Why do the media. Call Trump Hitler. Why did Joe Biden have that speech at Independence Hall? With exquisite detail and the lighting to make it seem so thoroughly ominous. Why was the core of their campaign to accuse Donald Trump of wanting to be a dictator? He accused Donald Trump of wanting to destroy democracy. He was president for four years. He wasn’t a dictator. He didn’t destroy democracy. He challenged in an election, you’re allowed to challenge an election. He didn’t tell those people to go riot like MAXINE Waters has done and other Democrats have done. No, he told them to peacefully. Peacefully. Talk to the representatives. He offered 10,000, 10,000 National Guardsmen. But it doesn’t fit into the narrative. What the Democrats in the media said. And by the way, they Never Trumpers have said about Donald Trump. Is reprehensible what they’ve said about you. Tens of millions of Americans. MAGA MAGA. Make America great again. Yeah. That’s so offensive. They spew Marx. They spew Lenin. They spew all the hate of the Marxists. Islamists left their supporters here in the street talking about the extermination of the Jews. We had cities burning in 2020. We were told they’re peaceful protests, but it’s MAGA. And yet, as Judge Jeanine so brilliantly put it the other day, Donald Trump was almost assassinated and you didn’t see any riots by any Trump supporters anywhere on the planet. I’ll be right back.

Segment 2
President Trump nomination speech tonight. I think it’s going to be around 10:30 p.m. Eastern. I can’t wait. I’m sure it’s going to be fabulous. I remember when I spoke to him the day after he was shot. He said, You know, Mark, I’m going to give you a different type of speech. I mean, this was his decision. It might be boring to a lot of our people, but I’ve got to help unite the country. I said, that won’t be boring, Mr. President. So I look very much forward to what he’s going to say. I have no idea. I wouldn’t even ask him, Even even if he give me an answer, that’s not appropriate. So I’ll be watching our eyes glued, our ears glued to the radio, our eyes glued to the television set. When we come back, I want to talk about populism and what that means. We’ll be right back.

Segment 3
Welcome back, America. The meeting. The Democrats will not understand what I’m about to say, but you will. Because you’re smart. Because you think, because you reason. They look for opportunities to exploit, to attack. But this radio show is not for them. It’s for you. I’m going to defend capitalism. Some of the speakers at the convention. Such as the head of the Teamsters. Sounded like Saul Alinsky to me. If you support working men and women. If you support the great middle class. If you support strong industries, cutting edge technologies, cutting edge products, new medicines that save so many lives, then improve lives. Then you support market capitalism. To get up and just yell about. Wall Street versus Main Street means absolutely nothing. That’s claptrap. Capitalism is not corporatism. The voluntary market system existed before this legal creation called corporations. Capitalism. The market system is the only economic system that creates widespread growth, prosperity and wealth for more people than any other system on the face of the earth. You want to know why? Because nobody. Created capitalism. There wasn’t some philosophers, some ideologue. Some scholar. Voluntary market systems have existed for thousands and thousands of years. They go hand in hand with liberty. And free will. Capitalism is not business focused. Capitalism is consumer focus. This is something Karl Marx never understood. If you don’t have a consumer, you don’t have a business. The consumer. We the people, we decide which businesses survive get big. Or don’t. We decide which businesses will fail. In fact, we decide whether a business even exists at all. We, you and me, the consumer, we decide. I don’t know what it means. Wall Street versus Main Street. What’s remarkable to me is J.D. Vance is the Republican nominee for vice president. He had absolutely nothing came from nothing. He’s a self-made man. He hooked up with Silicon Valley. He hooked up with, well, financiers, some of whom had connections to Wall Street. So what’s the big deal? I don’t know. It’s like Project 2025. All of a sudden I’m supposed to hate it. Why? She. Ladies and gentlemen, you listen to this show for a reason. I think I’m a constitutional conservative. That’s what I am. And that’s how I view things. And I view things through the Declaration of Independence. I view things through unalienable rights. You have absolute private property rights, your labor, physical and mental labor, your intellect. Is what makes your family work and what makes the country work. We can’t be for more government and less government at the same time, can we? Can we, Mr. Minister? We can’t be for more government and less government at the same time. We can’t be for less regulations and more regulations at the same time. We can’t say, look at the socialists. If we support redistribution of wealth for things that we like, but not for things that we don’t like. The economy is on its back, not because of too much capitalism, but because of too much government. Too much regulation. And who is in charge of government and regulation? Politicians. Politicians aren’t driven by an economic system, a market system. They’re driven by power. Power. That’s why the Constitution is set up the way it’s set up with checks and balances, with specific delineations of who can do what. There’s a commerce clause in the Constitution. The intent is to promote commerce, not regulation, not taxation. We had actually amend the Constitution to get the federal income tax. Right. People are moving to states that don’t have a state income tax and they’re depopulating the states that overregulate. Right. So if you want redistribution, redistribution of wealth. If you do this this group versus this group, Steve, we have plenty of states that operate that way. They’re called dark blue states, and they’re killing themselves. They’re destroying the citizenry. Businesses can’t get the hell out of there fast enough. They’re called California. They’re called New York. They’re called Illinois. You know what states I’m talking about? And yet the states that most embrace capitalism have economic growth. Prosperity. Florida. Tennessee. Other states. They embrace capitalism. Now, as I’ve explained, in liberty, in tyranny and elsewhere. You can’t truly be a free human being with free will. If that what you create with your hands and your mind. Belong to somebody else. Right. Betsy form of involuntary servitude. What do you do most of your life? You work. Most of your life. When you’re able to, you work. So when the government says we have a right to 45% of that state, we have a right to this, we have a right to that. So you’re working. Half your working life. For the government. Well, what’s the government politicians who decide where your money should go? So I’m not all in. Hook, line and sinker with this notion of, quote unquote, populism. It’s never well defined to me. It never has been well defined to me. Look at the Declaration of Independence. You have natural rights, unalienable. Natural rights. That has nothing to do with populism. It has some do with God given natural rights. Look at the Constitution. There’s only one body. And half of only one body that has direct elections, the House of Representatives, now the Senate, but one was originally drawn up because why? They were scared that populism would lead to mob ocracy that would affect your your individual liberties and your rights. And yet it is right to try and appeal. To trying to appeal to the largest numbers of Americans. We the people. In terms of policy. In terms of taxation, in terms of representation, I’m all in. But let us not. Confused that. With socialism and even worse, cultural Marxism. I don’t do the oppressor oppressed stuff. Wall Street versus Main Street. And I’m not into that. I’m not into that. I’m not into corporate. ISM either. Corporatism has nothing to do with capitalism. It’s just one of the creations out there of government. But I’m not into the oppressor oppressed. Mentality. I’m just not. That’s them. That’s the Democrats. That’s them. That’s the media. It’s not me. It’s an army. It’s important to appeal to what we call. Working Americans. You know, people can be billionaires and they could be working Americans, too. People could be very poor and they could be working Americans to. But what I’m saying is it’s important to appeal. To the vast population. You Americans, we the people. But let’s tamp down the Marxist propaganda in the socialist rhetoric. That’s what I’m saying. You notice Donald Trump doesn’t talk this way. About. Oppressor and oppressed. You notice Ronald Reagan didn’t talk that way. Oppressor oppressed. My buddy Craig Shirley, who’s one of the great historians of all time and great biographer Reagan, he will tell you Reagan was in many ways a populist, but he never surrender, dispense principle, ever. Sometimes yet a compromise, sometimes here to do certain things that he didn’t even want to do because there were other goals that he had. There were even greater than having to give up a battle here in there. But that was his guidepost. That was his North Star. So you can be a populist. And still be a capitalist and a constitutionalist, if you know what all of that means. But don’t echo the language of Bernie Sanders and others. And then talk about limited government, reducing regulations, reducing taxes that the government’s too big. We have a police state because you can’t have it both ways. The truth is, if we contribute to the growth. The powerful central government. We are contributing to a police state because it defies the limits in the Constitution and if the limits in the Constitution are breached. Then you have a police state. Not for the press out there. I’m not talking about any one person. I’m not talking about any one speech. I’m talking generally. I think this has been a fantastic convention. I’ve enjoyed the speeches. I think we have a fantastic ticket. There’ll be little here in their differences. A little tug of war here in there, because that’s who we are. That’s what we do. Look at Jefferson and Adams. Look at Hamilton and Jefferson. And I can go on and on through American history. There are great patriots. Great patriots. But they didn’t always agree with each other, did they? In fact, Madison didn’t always agree with his friend and mentor, Jefferson, although he would eventually come around and be more Jeffersonian than Hamiltonian. So this is important. It’s very important. And this is a civil discussion. And I am enthusiastic, excited, passionate. About a Donald Trump presidency. You see on the other side, they debate over whether they’re Maoists or Leninist or Stalinists, Trotskyites. The things I just discussed with you aren’t even part of the discussion. They don’t give a damn about the Constitution. They don’t give a damn about capitalism. They’re all in. For destroying our economic and governing system. And they’re doing a hell of a good job of it, which is why they need to be defeated. The extremism and radicalism. The counter-revolution to the American Revolution. The growth of the iron fist. The ubiquity of the government. We all can agree. That that is a horrendous. A horrendous future for this country. And this is why I have contempt for the Never Trumpers, some of whom claim to be traditional conservatives. They’re not. I am. They’re not. Most of them, in fact, are long in the tooth establishment Republicans. From the northeast. Just call it as I see it. I’ll be right back.

Segment 4
You know, it’s interesting. Just to follow up on my prior comments. Donald Trump. He was a more conservative, more pro-capitalist president than Richard Nixon, than George H.W. Bush. Then George W Bush. He’s the most conservative president we’ve had since Reagan. I just want to make this very, very clear. And so the fact of the matter is his appeal to working Americans, the middle class, blue collar workers, white collar workers, union, non-union is the same appeal that Ronald Reagan had considered the most conservative president in American history. This is my point. We, the consumers, we the people in a free system, a constitutional system, a capitalist system have more power than we do in a government centric system. Conservatism is about the people. Capitalism is about the people. The Constitution is about the people. I predict President Trump’s speech tonight, 10:30 p.m. Eastern, will be iconic and historic.
