I’m guessing Putin sought to assassinate his ultra-nationalist buddy as he has others, given the criticism he’s receiving from that quarter. But accidentally killed the daughter instead. Now he’s trying to rally forces by blaming Ukraine. Who knows, but it certainly wouldn’t be Putin’s first time.
