On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show, a few decades ago, California was known as one of the greatest States, now it has become a one-party-run, third-world hell hole. California is run by unserious ideologues who believe they are smarter than us. The politicians in California claim they care about the environment yet look what they’ve done to the environment. We’re led to believe we are abusing nature – no nature abuses us whether we like it or not. You try to manage your communities in such a way that when Mother Nature decides to unleash an assault, you’re in a better position to deal with it. But California doesn’t even manage its forests properly. Also, when you have a corrupt NY Judge and a corrupt NY judicial system that hates President-Elect Trump, nobody really expected Judge Merchan would say he was wrong. Months ago, Mark explained exactly what Trump’s lawyers should do to get this case to the Supreme Court. Today they finally took that step and hopefully, the Supreme Court will take the case. Later, it’s important for the cause of justice in this country that the incoming DOJ and FBI leadership investigate Jack Smith and his team. We had a rouge DOJ and FBI and it can’t be tolerated. It’s not retribution – it’s justice. Afterward, George Soros is the big sugar daddy for the Democrats. To reward him Biden gave him the Medal of Freedom. Out of all the people, Biden gives the highest civilian medal to him. Finally, Sen Tim Sheehy calls in to explain that left-wing policies in California have an impact, we can care about the environment and also protect our communities. The wildfire community has been shouting from the rooftops for years that fires like what we’re seeing in California was going to happen.

Segment 1
Hello, America. Mark Levin here, our number 877-381-3811.  877-381-3811. It’s time to have a serious discussion. It’s time to have the courage to have a serious discussion. We see what’s going on in the state of California. California few decades back. Was known by all of us, even those of us who didn’t live in California’s the greatest of the states opportunity, vibrancy. Massive economy. Solid government well-run. Beautiful state, every kind of geography imaginable. To become a third world hellhole. And less than a quarter of a century, a one party run third world hellhole. Ramp crime. Rampant illegal immigration borders wide open. Brownouts. Blackouts. Electricity. Unreliable. Water shortages. Gas prices through the roof. Highest in the country. Minimum wage hikes in the country, destroying jobs and destroying businesses. You see, ladies and gentlemen, California, like many of our states and like our country, Hunter Biden and his ilk are run by incompetent, unserious ideologues. Who believe they’re smarter than all of us. Who believe they can conquer Mother Nature. Who believe that they are wiser than all of us. And they are creating these disasters, whether on the border, whether in our cities, our forests. They’re destroying the country. See these people believe that they can remake. Society. Because they’re smarter than the rest of us. They got the great ideas. Smarter than the people. They believe that they can remake mankind. Human nature. And they believe that they can remake the Earth. Climate change, global warming, global cooling. Nick, call it whatever you want. That they have the power to do all these things, and yet they don’t have the power to do a damn thing. And they’re destroying the country and they’ve destroyed the state of California and the people in California paying the price for it now, even though they vote for it. Now. There’s a reason why this is the worst fire, they believe right now in the history of California, where there’s brownouts and blackouts, where there’s a lack of water. Why gas prices are through the roof. The people run California. Pretend they claim. That they care about the environment. And yet look what they’ve done to the environment. Look what they’ve done. This is the truth. Mother Nature is a mother. All right, But not about nature. There’s no such thing as Mother Nature. It is a pejorative. It is a it is a term that’s been given to nature to try and seem. Wow, it’s so sweet. Nature’s brutal. As the people the last few days have had to dig out from these snowstorms. As people who have to deal with earthquakes and hurricanes, tidal waves. And I go on and on. Nature has slaughtered, killed. More people than we can count. More people than we can count. Most of us live in secure homes. We have air conditioning, we have heat, we have the necessities to survive. And more than survive, thrive. And we’re led to believe that we somehow are abusing nature. Now nature abuses us. And it always will. Whether we like it or not. And so. What you do in the face of such power is you try and manage. Your communities. You try manage. Your surroundings in such a way as when Mother Nature decides to unleash. An assault. While mankind. You’re in a better position to deal with it. Can’t change it. Can’t stop it, but deal with it. So in California, they don’t manage their forests properly. The lumber companies are the enemy. Georgia-Pacific is the enemy. They’re destroying the environment when in fact, of course they’re not. They’re cleaning out the deadwood, the brush. They remove trees. Then they plant new trees. But we’re supposed to hate them. Progress is to be hated. Capitalism is to be hated. It’s almost a religion on the left. It’s okay if there’s fires. It’s okay if lightning causes forest fires. This is this is nature. It’s natural. As if they’re moving at the moon. Now, we’re not allowed to talk about these things. You see, when there’s mass murder. Right out of their mouths. Gun control. Gun control. Gun control. Even though gun control has almost nothing to do with it. Gun control. Gun control by the people who don’t believe in throwing criminals and I mean recidivists back into prison. Where their president just gave. Committed services. Committed sentences, I should say, to murderers. Went out of his way. Our cities are in decline. The country is in decline. California is in a hell of a mess. And people need to be held account for this. They need to be held to account. Now, that’s not to say there would be fires. But it is to say there wouldn’t be fires like this. The fire hydrants don’t have any water. Why? Because it’s some damnable little fish that nobody has ever heard of before and doesn’t even matter. That’s the excuse anyway. Climate change just threw around. Blithely throw around these these terms as if they matter to the people now who are suffering horribly in California, losing everything. They won’t learn their lesson. The Democrats in California, they won’t learn their lesson of Washington, D.C.. What the hell? People lose their homes, Some have lost their life. Bismarck’s put it a little bit of despotism. That’s the way it goes when you’re trying to. Changed society for the better for the people, of course. For the people. Of course. Now now’s not the time to mention this. Of course it is the time to mention this. Because when this is over, nobody will give a damn anymore. And so now we have the EPA giving waivers because of Biden type of vehicles people can drive. The kind of trucks that can be driven California. It’s hey, it is a state destroying itself. And it’s trying to drag the rest of the nation with it. Used to be. As California goes, so goes the nation. Let’s pray that’s not true. By God. Let’s hope not. But we don’t have to look overseas anymore. We don’t have to look in the third World anymore. Just look at California. Look at New York. Look at Illinois. But especially tonight, look at California. This is what’s in store for the whole country. A state with the highest taxes in the country. Whether it’s income taxes. Property taxes. Sales taxes. Highest prices on energy in the country. If you can get it. Still brownouts and blackouts, horrendous services for the public. Teachers unions and other public sector unions control the state one party rule. One party rule Supermajorities in the legislature. Massive crime waves. Businesses, shuttering businesses, leaving as fast as they can. Illegal aliens pouring into the state. But hundreds of thousands. Complete mismanagement of the state’s resources because of some religious type ideology. California is showing us what’s going to happen to the rest of the country. What’s going to happen to the rest of the country. Look at New York. A congestion tax. $27. I’ve been in that New York congestion and there’s nothing like it. It is hell, hell, hell. And what is it? It’s people trying to get to work. It’s buses trying to transport people. It’s trucks trying to bring produce and supplies and other products into a city that used to be vibrant. They used to be bustling. It’s enormously stressful driving in that city, getting into that city and getting out of that city more than any other city. L.A. is a disaster, too. But don’t get me wrong. Nothing’s like New York. New York has 4 to 5 times as many people in the metropolitan areas. L.A. does not even a close call. And so what do they do? They tax the people. Excuse me. That’s right. We’re going to tax you even more. You’re stressed out to begin with. It’s incredibly expensive to live in and around the city. It’s dangerous as how illegal aliens are being hand out goodies, credit cards, hotel rooms, you name it. Crime is through the roof. The place is filthy. They’re trying to put Rudy Giuliani in federal prison. Who cleaned up the damn place? America’s mayor. And what do they do? They have a solution. 27 bucks. That’s the solution. That’s the solution. Because these people. Are incompetent, they’re unserious, and they’re ideologues. That’s the solution. Government didn’t build New York. The private economy built New York. Entrepreneurs built New York. Men and women who wanted to succeed because they couldn’t succeed anywhere else. They came to New York. California government didn’t build California. Settlers and beyond saw an opportunity. The fifties and sixties and seventies, even the eighties, people saw an opportunity. California was the land of opportunity. Low taxes. Magnificent environment and climate. Livable. Livable state. Now, look at it. Didn’t take long. 25 years. Then take long at all. And now California’s burning. Yes, it’s nature. Or maybe it’s an arsonist. 100 mile an hour winds. But the steps that should have been taken. Rational. Known steps that should have been taken were not taken. The opposite was done. The name of the environment tonight. The environment is being destroyed in California. In the name of the people. The people. I running for their lives. Chad Burnham of Fox noted that the Republican new Republican. Senator Montana Senator Tim Sheehy. Has a wildlife fighting company on California wildfires, he said. Those of us in the wildfire community have been shouting from the rooftops for years that this was going to happen. We were going to have the big one. In a wildland urban interface environment, which is what this is, and it was going to be catastrophic. This is the big one. And a federal apparatus, we are not prepared to fight fire here around. It’s January. Most of the air tankers, helicopters and firefighters are off contract. They’re not prepared to launch out. And now we’re putting a lot of brave first responders, not in an extremely dangerous scenario because we have failed them in an extremely dangerous scenario. This is what I meant to say. That’s a bureaucracy to make sure. That they’re paid sufficiently. This senator will be on the program in our three. I’ll be right back.

Segment 2
These these incompetence, these leftists, these Democrat run regimes, they hide behind these. These fantasies that they create climate change. Climate change is responsible for their incompetence. Climate change is responsible for not having enough water. Climate change is responsible for brownouts and blackout. No. No, no, no. They’re responsible for it. It’s their policies. We’re never going to reverse course if we don’t expose it. They have responsibility along with nature. For what’s taking place. Obviously not all of it, but the extent of it when you can’t get water out of fire hydrants. And we’ve discussed this issue of water over the years. Come on, Blue in the face. What goes on in California, How they use natural resources against the people, how they claim to be protecting natural resources. You look at these pictures tonight in California and you ask yourself. If these radicals, these phony environmental Marxist radicals, these de-growth radicals, if they really give a damn about the environment, you ask ask yourself, look at the environment. Look what’s going on. Is this look like people? People that is the people who who run that state. Give a damn about the environment. I’ll be right back.

Segment 3
By the way, to clarify, it’s a $9 congestion tax on top of all the other costs. $27 is in it each way. Mr. Producer. I think it is. It’s a disaster. I’m talking about New York City. See folks on the left, these Democrats, the media, they have a different view of human life, of survivability, progress. You and I, we understand. That mankind has needs and wants. That requires ceaseless labor. The application of man’s knowledge and knowhow. And might that creating things that are nothing using natural resources. In a responsible way. An environmental friendly way. And nobody’s done that better than the American people. But you see, in doing so, you create weapons to produce or private property rights, right? Private property. Right. And land are private property right. In a machine, a private property right. And a mineral. And so forth and so on. And this is what really repulses the left. So they nationalize everything. Every president nationalizes millions and millions of more acres. We have 30% of the of the nation now that is owned by the federal government. It’s not managed. Massive fires waiting to happen, but they just keep taking. They keep taking. They keep seizing and consuming more and more of our land. And they think that’s a righteous thing. It’s not righteous. Of course we want national parks. Of course we want monuments. We want all these things. But 30% of the landmass of the United States. You’ve got some. Some states out west where the federal government owns 89%. I think that’s Nevada. Utah, Montana, Wyoming. They own massive stretches of land. From what? To protect the and Right. You’re not protecting the environment. You’re destroying the environment. And people and animals and everybody else suffers. Is President Trump. More than six years ago with Gavin Newsom in California in 2018 and 2018. I want you to listen to this. Cut one, go. There’s been a lot of study going on over the last little while. And I will I will say I think you’re going to have hopefully this is going to be the last of all of these because this was a really, really bad fire. And I know Gavin’s committed. We’re all committed. I’m committed to make sure that we get all of this cleaned out and protected. We’ve got to take care of the floors, you know, the floors of the forests. Very important. If you look at other countries where they do it differently and it’s a whole different story. I was with the president of Finland and he said, we have a much different we’re Forest nation. They called it a forest nation and they spent a lot of time on break in and cleaning and doing things and they don’t have any problem Then what it is, it’s a very small problem. So I know everybody’s looking at that to that end and it’s going to work out and it turns out they’re not. Turns out they didn’t. Here’s President Trump in California again not that long ago, September 2024. Cut two go. You have so much water and all those fields that are right now barren, the farmers would have all the water they needed and you could revert water up into the hills. We have all the dead forests where the forests are so brittle. Because no, no. Places like California. I go to Austria, the head of Austria tells me, you know, we have trees that are much more flammable than what you have in California. We never have forest fires because they maintain their forests and you have all that water that could be used to as water, what they call water flow, where the water, you know, where the land would be damp. And you’d stop many of these horrible fires that are costing billions and billions of dollars by the federal government, etc.. So one thing I’m going to do for California, vote for me, California. I’m going to give you safety. I’m going to give you a great border and I’m going to give you more water than almost anybody has. And the farmers up north are going to be able to use 100% of their land, not 1% of their land. Hmm. Pretty prescient, if you ask me. But utterly predictable to. And then, of course, we have if you don’t agree. With the degrowth movement, with the anti-capitalist movement. If you’re not a Marxist socialist, if if you don’t agree with whatever climate change means to the spending of trillions of dollars for nothing. If you don’t agree, forcing the American people to live in more and more densely populated facilities, forcing them on a dangerous public transportation. If you don’t agree to all these things, well, then it’s you who are going to cause fires and flooding. Cat three Biden in Delaware, September 2020. Go out. Trump Climate denial may not have caused these fires and record floods and record hurricanes, but if he gets a second term, these hellish events will continue to become more common, more devastating, and more deadly. Hmm. I think he meant. To talk about himself because that the case. So if he clean out forests, they’re going to become more deadly. Again, we’re dealing with something akin to a religious ideology. And that religious ideology not only wants to advance this degrowth movement, but it hates capitalism and private property rights. It hates you when you expand your physical and mental labor every single day. I don’t care if you’re a cop or a firefighter or a teacher, if you’re a a surgeon, a lawyer, a truck driver, you’re doing those things to accumulate some level of financial security, some level of wealth. Otherwise you might not do them. Maybe you do something else. But that’s why it’s important that you get a paycheck, a paycheck that you can live on. That’s why you make decisions every single day, every day of your life about how you’re going to get income, not just to put food on the table, not just to pay your bills, but you want to acquire something beyond that. That’s the American dream a home, a truck, a boat, whatever it is, a vacation, pay for kids to go to college, whatever it is. These are called private property rights. And you’re using both your mental labor and your physical labor. If you’re an electrician, if you’re a plumber, Yes. You’re using your mental labor as well as your physical labour. If you’re a bricklayer, yes, you’re working. You’re using your mental labour as well as your physical labour. This is your being, That is your sweat bled and blood and tears. That is your your flesh and blood. This is what you do most of the time in your waking hours. And you have an entire sort of religious movement, an ideological movement that rejects it all. Think you should be working for the state. It’s okay that your taxes are through the roof. We ought to nationalise your private health care program. You got to go to the public school that they tell you to go to be taught the way that they tell you to be taught and so forth and so on. It’s a relative handful of people in the population with a massive bureaucracy, a mob that they have funded to impose their will, fines and penalties and so forth, because they have an idea of the way you should live and society should be and they impose it on you. And so you get a California. With a forest, you’re not being properly tended to and managed. Where they attack energy production anyway in every way they can. We’re prices are through the roof with the living standards are collapsing. Massive redistribution of wealth. They just pass laws. Oh, we’ll have a minimum wage. 20, 22 bucks. Wait a minute. I can’t afford that. I have five employees. It’s 120 bucks an hour. I make 75 bucks an hour. How am I going to do this? You’re not. So you go under. Most of these people have no experience in anything. Related to what they’re taxing and regulating. None. But it doesn’t matter, apparently, by the simple fact of getting elected to office, by the simple fact of having a job in the bureaucracy, by a simple fact to be appointing to some commission. You’re smarter. More experienced, more capable. Then all the rest of us. Now we know that’s not true. But that’s how we’re being ruled right now. That’s how we’re being ruled right now. It’s very troubling. That’s not small Republicanism. That’s not small d democracy. That’s not representative government. Yes, you vote for people who do these things. But we don’t you know, the others do. But these are policies that most people don’t understand. Not because they’re stupid, because they’re busy living their lives, trying to raise their families, trying to make a living. They’re not focused on what what’s going on on the floor of the forests And in California. It’s a form of despotism. That’s what this is. A form of dictatorial arrogance, if you will. That’s what it is. And they create these righteous proclamations. These righteous. Issues. How could you be against clean water and clean air while they’re creating circumstances for dirty water and dirty air? G. All these forest fires taking place in California. What’s that doing to the air and water in California? These policies of the extremists on the left are destroying the environment in California. As well as human lives, people’s lives, their homes and everything that’s in their homes. Thousands and thousands of homes going up in smoke. They were wrong. But don’t talk about it. No, no, no, no, no, no. Climate change. What? And so by these practices, by these policies, by this insanity. Look at the lives that they’ve destroyed. Look at the lives that they’ve destroyed. You know, I’ve written a lot of books. I wrote a book. Maria topia. Among those he spoke about was Russo. Russo. And Rizzo was in many ways a manic depressive, and he thought about killing himself from time to time. But he wrote a lot. He thought a lot called him a philosopher. And he came up with what he thought was really its modern day. It’s sort of pre Marxism. Socialism. Not the only one, but he was very articulate in his idiocy. How about the social structures, about the community that the only way you can actually be free is to be free as part of a communal part of the community. So you can see the communal communism aspect of this, even though it wasn’t developed, certainly not fully as communism, that would come later. But Marks, etc.. So he knew the end result that he wanted. He knew the end result he wanted. The social structure that he wanted, centralized society, centralized government where everybody’s pulling in the same direction. Well, of course, that’s machines. Pretty much. So now it’s up to the people. To serve the machine. And the will of the people. It’s plural. That is the people, not you, the individual, the will of the people. And so who decides, ladies and gentlemen, what the will of the people is or is not? Well, obviously, a handful. Of individuals he talked about, the legislature would decide. Jefferson talked about the tyranny of the legislature. You can have tyranny from a thousand people are tyranny from one. The legislature. Determines this. This mechanical system effectively, he was saying. And that’s what you have in California. Supermajority of radical left wing ideological Democrats all pulling in the same direction, dragging the people with them, whether they like it or not. Some do, some don’t. Too many do. And so it’s not really a free state. The will of the people needs to be the will of the community. The well of the community, it turns out, is the will of the government via the legislature, the governor. You’re merely. You’re merely a little part of the machine. Not to really be focused on very much. And so the legislature and California’s much like the legislature. Well, as much like the king and queens of old, you vote for them. They pass laws and they tell you what to do. It’s not the purpose of a legislature to keep telling you what to do, how to live, what the end game is for your state or your country or society generally. Yet this is what we get. So the trees burn. Isn’t that funny? Trees don’t change. Fire doesn’t change. No. No matter how much they tell us what kind of vehicles we have to drive or what kind of lawnmowers we can use, or dishwashers or washing machines or dryers. Our HVAC systems. The idea that this has any effect whatsoever. Our nature is preposterously stupid. But it doesn’t matter. They’ve decided they, quote unquote, had decided that’s the will of the people without consulting the people. I’ll be right back.

Segment 4
Our cities are looking more and more like that old movie Mad Max, aren’t they? And so, please, people who Lord over us, they want us to live in more and more dense areas. They want to eliminate single housing. They want to eliminate the combustion engine. They want to force us on public transportation. But in any event. When you create more dense areas, you’re creating more congestion. Right. It’s harder to get around, isn’t it? And then they tax you for it in New York. Oh, we have a congestion. Excuse me. I thought you wanted congestion. I thought you wanted density. I thought you wanted all these things. Now you’re going to taxes for it. Oh, yes. And by the way, are the illegal aliens pouring into the city in all hours? So are they going to be taxed to. Like they give a damn, either the illegal aliens or the politicians. It screw the citizen. You see, you’re not a second class citizen. You’re a non-person. The illegal aliens driving around on their scooters, getting hotel rooms, free food. I don’t like that food. That’s not the kind of food in my culture. Screw you. Not only that. Credit cards. Credit cards. But firefighters, police officers, teachers, hard working people in the private sector who make New York City work and all of our cities work, we’re going to tax them. Don’t you know, like it’s not enough of a pain in the ass to get in and out of a congested metropolitan area? Sick. Whole damn thing is upside down. I’ll be right back.
