On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, Kevin McCarthy has withdrawn from the race to become John Boehner’s successor as Speaker of the House because he didn’t have enough votes. What’s going on in the House right now doesn’t threaten the future of the GOP; it’s not chaos or anarchy like the media wants us to believe it is. Conservatives are the only principled people in Washington trying to legitimately change the leadership in the Republican Party, using the system to change the system. It’s not about saving the country or the GOP, but about advancing the constitutional conservative cause – the American cause – and laying out the case to the American people. If Republicans in Washington were responsive to the people that voted them into power in the last election we wouldn’t be in the situation we’re in today. Mark speaks with Congressman Tim Huelskamp about what’s going on in the House and what’s next in the process to find a new Speaker.
